Dear Albert,

it was only a short time that we could stay at Meson La Hospedería in Cómpeta .............. but both the surroundings of the Nature Park with miles and miles of tracks and unpaved roads, the wonderful climate, the friendly people in the village, but certainly you too have made a great impression on us during our MTB adventures through the Natural Park!
The highlight (1,650m) was our arrival on the highest mountain in the area, with beautiful views of the Sierra Nevada and the coast of North Africa in the distance! TOP!

Albert, thank you for the good care and great organization of our MTB week in Cómpeta,

What a wonderful cycling week at Meson La Hospedería in Cómpeta! We have really come to rest in this wonderful location in Andalusia in the South of Spain. We had breakfast on the sunny roof terrace in the morning and in the evening enjoyed the restaurants in the area. The racing bikes we rented from Albert were perfect and thanks to Albert's good tips we made beautiful rides through the surrounding hills and along the Mediterranean Sea.

Muchas gracias & hasta la vista!

Had a wonderful week in Cómpeta!

Getting away from the 'cold' rainy and windy Netherlands. Nice apartment accommodation during our 5 days MTB spring break here in Andalusia and surprisingly beautiful surroundings of the adjacent Nature Park with miles and miles of good tracks and unpaved roads!

Almost been on the very impressive top of the La Maroma mountain (2063m) with my bike. Maybe come back to climb that top. In retrospect it was not even that far anymore, but given the food supply and remaining time / energy, I left it for what it was. Rented fine MTB bikes from Albert, which brought us safely to where we wanted to get through a lot of ascents and thunderous slopes.

The transfers from Albert were also a welcome addition because the approach routes were sometimes quite steep, so you can 'skip' them nicely. We spent our last day by bus in Torre del Mar, there was just a 'ruta de tapas' going on. Delicious tapas and drinks at many different restaurants. We have packed our things and can think back with a good feeling about this beautiful, mountainous area and the wonderful spring holiday we spent here.

With sporty greetings

Dear Albert, our 14-day stay in Cómpeta is almost over! We enjoyed the wonderful climate and the beautiful surroundings. Bright sun every day! Your hospitality and service; First Class!

We did 6 mountain bike routes (the rented mtb's were new 29ers). Recommended for the following mountain bike enthusiasts; the route to Acebuchal in the Natural Park where we had a delicious lunch and also ask Albert to take you by 4x4 vehicle to 1,800 meters and then descend to Cómpeta via the white village of Salares.

The comfortable Casa accommodation at Meson La Hospedería, the peaceful environment with lots of nature already makes us long for the next time we shall visit Cómpeta! Oh yes, a day trip to the Alhambra in Granada, thanks to the rental car, of course, many sights from the Middle Ages.

With kind regards.

Dear Albert,

We can only describe our MTB holiday in Andalusia as one BIG success, how everything was organized and arranged by you, with one word "FANTASTIC". It was of course very unfortunate about the fall of A3, but you also dealt with this quickly and effectively! We hope that many more people will use your personal approach and great hospitality for MTB holidays in Cómpeta. We have greatly enjoyed pour accommodation, the cycling routes, the surroundings in the nature park and your assistance, we have driven about 350 kilometers through the mountains of the beautiful Nature Park at the edge of the village. As far as we are concerned, we will definitely come back!

Kind regards from André, Elwin, Wim, Jordy, Marcel, Piet, Gerwin and of course A3.

Hi Albert,

our stay at Casa Granada was unfortunately far too short! We are particularly impressed by the surroundings of Cómpeta in general and the beauty and ruggedness of the Tejeda & Almijara Natural Park in particular.

Cómpeta is a pleasant village with all amenities within walking distance and an ideal base for challenging MTB tours; we climbed the mountains La Maroma (2063m) and Cerro Lucero (1793m) with the MTB, followed narrow mule tracks with some running gear and descended through winding unpaved slopes to sleepy, white villages in the area.

From the Lucero mountain we followed a beautiful marathon route of 106 kms, partly through the province of Granada and through the mountains back to our base at Casa Granada in Cómpeta.

From the reservation, our accommodation, the cycling routes and the assistance during our stay, we received excellent service; always quick answers to all our questions, the Wifi was available as promised and the welcome by Albert at Malaga airport was very warm! In Casa Granada is fully equipped with whatever you need, our bikes were safely in the workshop, with compressor and high pressure washer for the dirty bikes! The price / quality ratio at Andalusia Sportief, is perfect!! We'll be back!

Memorable stay in quaint Andalucian village - friendly people and fantastic food. Beautiful rooms with delightful Spanish character, based right in the heart of the community, yet only a stone's throw from the village square. All local amenities close by, including supermarkets, restaurants and a swimming pool attached to a local hotel (pay a small fee to use). Albert was very helpful, and available either in person or by email to answer any queries about the area. He also hires mountain bikes, and was kind enough not only to provide a bike at short notice, but to suggest several local routes to suit a variety of capabilities.

No cooking facilities (*) in our Casa room, we had a fridge, coffe machine and water cooker to make tea in the morning. We used the house bar to store larger quantities of food and drinks.

(*) although the Loft #11 and Granada residence apartments do have a fully equiped kitchen.
